I tried wearing heels to work the other day and I really don't know how people do it. The walk to the subway alone was unbearable, staying in them for the rest of the day was almost impossible. I am determined to be able to function in heels so I think I'm going to give these wedge shoes from Aldo a try. They look proper enough for work and the rubber wedge heel actually seems comfy.
Same here! I can never walk in heels--besides making me like 6'2", I feel like my ankles are going to break. I've been wearing these wedges for the past month or so (http://www.chineselaundry.com/products2.cfm/ID/2120/attr1/5254), they're so comfortable, especially after I added some cushion underneath the ball of my foot. And they're more than half-price at piperlime. Let me know how those aldo wedges work out!
